I believe that everyone can live a vibrant, resilient, relatively pain-free life - and that the human body, given the care and support it needs, has been purposefully created with the ability to heal from the inside out. From a very young age I have felt called to help women understand their bodies, gain freedom from pain, learn to enjoy and allow for times of rest, and achieve movement longevity. This lifelong calling has now become The Good Rest Wellness.

Grand Haven born & raised, I have been blessed to spend over 15 years of my life so far working with women during their child-bearing years, beginning with volunteering as a client advocate at a pregnancy center right out of high school - and more recently spending 6+ years working at the busiest OBGYN practice in the state of Montana. When my husband and I moved back to The Lakeshore, I could not wait to bring The Good Rest Wellness with me!


Through my own health journey it became clear to me that a holistic approach to women's health and wellness, along with therapeutic touch and truth-filled education on how our bodies are designed is largely and critically missing from most Western Medicine. The Good Rest Wellness was born from my desire and heart-felt calling to fill this hole for the girls and women of our community.


As a licensed wellness professional, my mission is to bring rest, rejuvenation, healing, freedom from pain, hope, understanding in how to care for your body, and preventative wellness solutions to you in a tangible way while honoring Christ as I share with you the wonders of his greatest creation, the human body. I also desire to provide a safe, comfortable, uplifting, and high-class experience for each individual woman who chooses to partner with me in during her wellness journey.


As a massage and rest expert, I have spent years working directly with the nervous system and the soft and connective tissues, and I am able to identify and empower you to restore physical dysfunction and address pain patterns. I am also able to teach you how to use massage, stretching, movement, and lymphatic drainage techniques on yourself as a preventative wellness solution. This has been life-changing for me and it can be for you as well!


Also being credentialed as a holistic health & nutrition professional, I value education and empowerment when it comes to identifying and changing lifestyle & eating patterns/habits that no longer serve you in favor of new life & diet choices that do.


After working in "the healthcare industry" for years, I am very clear on its benefits and it's short comings and am always up for visiting with you about your current health situation. When I'm not with clients, I enjoy spending time outdoors, riding horses and spending any amount of time in the barn & on the trails that I can.

I also love going on hikes and other adventures with my husband and fur kids, walking, running, biking, kayaking, restful stretching, strength training, barre & pilates, reading, writing, soaking up the sunshine at the beach, and photography.

Why "The Good Rest"?


When I began my journey as a Holistic Wellness Professional, Massage Therapist, and MLD Practitioner - I knew from the start that I wanted my hands and my skills to be used for the Lord. This is not my work - it's His. Only He brings true healing. Only He knows the needs of each individual who comes my way. Only He brings true rest - and His rest is good.


Over 80% of illness / disease is caused by stress. Our modern lifestyle and priorities leave little time for rest, and make us feel guilty when we do. Our bodies have been forced into constant 'fight or flight' mode, resulting in weakened immune systems, confused nervous systems, upset circadian rhythm, wrecked digestion, fatigue, chronic pain, sleep issues, and countless other physical and mental ailments. We need rest to recover - guilt-free rest that switches our nervous system from 'fight or flight' to 'rest & digest'.


And so, "The Good Rest Wellness" is named to constantly remind myself and those who partner with me along their wellness journey that rest is good - His rest is best - and what happens here is so very needed.
